Episode 36 : Stop Pushing For Clarity: Alignment Comes First
💫Episode 36 : Stop Pushing For Clarity: Alignment Comes First
Alignment doesn’t live in urgency.
It doesn’t come from effort, fixing, or forcing clarity.
Alignment lives in allowing.
In this episode of Collective Guidance, we slow everything down and gently dismantle one of the most common misunderstandings in personal growth and spirituality: the belief that alignment is something you have to work toward, achieve, or earn.
Alignment is not a destination.
It’s your natural state of being.
If you’ve been feeling disconnected, restless, heavy, or tired in a way that sleep doesn’t fix, nothing is wrong with you. Your focus has simply drifted away from who you truly are.
And that’s not a failure — it’s feedback.
Alignment Is Not Self-Improvement, It’s Self-Remembering
Drawing inspiration from my conversation with astrologer and intuitive wellness guide Laura Lee Lotto, this episode explores alignment as something deeply embodied and practical — not abstract or spiritualized beyond real life.
Your emotions are not problems to fix.
They are guidance.
When your focus matches your inner being — your soul self — you feel ease, curiosity, openness, and a quiet sense of “okayness,” even if nothing has changed yet. When your focus drifts toward fear, control, comparison, or urgency, your body responds with tension and heaviness.
Not because you’re failing — but because your emotions are letting you know you’re looking in a different direction than love.
Astrology as Frequency, Not Fate
Astrology, at its core, is not about prediction — it’s about remembrance.
Your birth chart doesn’t tell you who to be.
It reminds you who you already are.
Laura shared a powerful metaphor: your chart is like divine sheet music written specifically for your rhythm, tempo, and emotional range. Misalignment happens when we spend our lives trying to play someone else’s song.
You’re not broken.
You’re just off frequency.
And when you understand the nature of the energy you’re working with — rather than trying to force movement — resistance softens and relief appears.
Relief Is the Doorway Back to Alignment
One of the most important teachings in this episode comes from Abraham Hicks:
Alignment doesn’t begin with joy.
It begins with relief.
Relief sounds like:
“I don’t have to figure this out today.”
“I can pause.”
“I can breathe.”
“I can stop pushing.”
Relief is where alignment quietly returns.
This is especially important for women who feel pressure to stay positive or have it all together. You don’t need to override your humanity to be aligned. You just need to stop arguing with reality long enough to hear what it’s offering you.
Surrender Is Not Giving Up — It’s Letting Go of Resistance
Surrender doesn’t mean you like what’s happening.
It doesn’t mean spiritual bypassing or passivity.
Surrender is the moment you stop adding suffering on top of contrast.
When resistance drops, energy frees up.
Insights arrive.
Timing reveals itself.
Next steps become obvious — not frantic or forced.
Alignment trusts timing.
When you stop demanding clarity before alignment, life meets you with ease.
A Simple Alignment Practice
Before a decision, a conversation, a launch, or a moment of uncertainty, take one deep breath and say:
“I am a clear channel of divine wisdom.
I allow what is meant for me to flow with ease.”
Then let it go.
Alignment will do the work you were never meant to do alone.
You don’t have to believe.
You just have to allow.
And when you stop resisting the remembrance of who you already are, life will meet you there — with support, clarity, and possibility.
Thank you for being here.
